Cleaning instructions

Tool maintenance

To ensure the best possible care of your tools, we recommend using cleaning agents that have been specially developed for plastics (e.g. plastic cleaners or car interior cleaners). Commercially available hand soap and similar mild cleaning agents are also suitable for regular cleaning.

Important:

  • Do not use aggressive solvents such as ethanol, acetone or brake cleaner. These can corrode the material.
  • Tools with electronic components (e.g. torque tools and phase testers) must not get wet. Apply the cleaner to a damp cloth and not directly to the tool.

Residues can be removed reliably through regular cleaning. This maintains their functionality and significantly extends the service life of your tool.
